Online, Invisible, and Offline statuses

An operator can choose one of three statuses:

  • Online: an operator receives new chats.
  • Offline: an operator doesn’t receive new chats.
  • Invisible: an operator doesn’t receive new chats, but is displayed “Online” for all visitors with ongoing chats. Operators can join another chat by themselves or get an invite from another operator. Use the “Invisible” status when you’re busy, but want to remain available, or at the end of the shift to complete only ongoing chats without receiving any new ones.
    When no operators are online, the widget goes to a messenger mode — the visitors can see the last activity online and an “offline greeting.”

To enable operators to continue to be displayed Online and receive chats when they are available only on a mobile device, specify their working hours in their account settings.
